New Tariff: What We're Doing Now
    (More to Come)

    Dear Valued Customer,

As you may have seen in recent news, the U.S. government has announced a new round of tariffs on products imported from almost all countries that will go into effect in early April. These tariffs will directly impact many of the products and components we use to bring you the high-quality products you rely on.

These tariffs will require us to implement price increases on most of our product lines. While we are still evaluating the full impact, we wanted to let you know that we are working quickly and thoughtfully behind the scenes to find solutions that minimize the impact to your business. We will provide specific details, including timing and new pricing, in the coming weeks. Stand by for further communication from us.

Please know that we are well-positioned to navigate this change. We’ve successfully weathered tariff shifts before and will continue to find paths to bring you the products you need at a price that's fair. With our scale, supply chain expertise, and deep commitment to you, we remain a dependable and stable partner for your business. We appreciate your continued partnership.

    Best Regards,
    Greg Gottlieb, CEO

    April 8, 2025

    Dear valued customer,

Last week, the U.S. administration announced a new round of tariffs on imported goods, including some of the products and related components you source from Thibaut and our brands. While the full scope and timeline are still unfolding, we want to be transparent about our next steps.

Beginning with all new orders received on May 1st, we are introducing a flat rate surcharge of 3.5%. With the overarching goals of minimizing the impact on your business and continuing to be an approachable resource for you and your clients, Thibaut will be absorbing a portion of these tariffs. Your partnership has always been at the heart of what we do, and we remain dedicated to delivering the quality, service, and exclusive designs you rely on, even in unpredictable times.

If you have any questions, please reach out to your Thibaut/Coraggio representative or our Client Experience team. We will continue to keep you informed as this situation evolves.

With sincere appreciation for your understanding and support,

    Rick Kilmer
    Chief Executive Officer

    To Our Valued Customers,

Over the past 107 years, five generations of my family have had the honor and privilege to serve the interior design trade with passion, strength and stability. We have always weathered challenges and obstacles with transparency, and always with a strong belief in partnership and a sharp focus on doing the right thing. We will follow the same path now.

As you are all aware, we are facing recently imposed tariffs on all of our imported products, effective this week. We do source globally from a wide assortment of craftspeople, artisans, small weavers and printers. All of these will be subject to varying percentages of tariffs. Please note that our domestic sources, which are a significant part of our product mix, will not be subject to any tariffs.

As a result of the tariffs, our intention is to fairly allocate the costs across our suppliers, our customers and ourselves. Beginning on May 1st, a tariff surcharge based on country of origin will be added as a separate line item on our invoices. The specifics will be clearly stated on our website. We believe that this degree of transparency and clarity will provide you with the confidence of knowing what your costs will be and what you need to communicate to your clients.

The details of our plan are as follows:

    1. We manufacture our furniture in the USA, so there will be no surcharges on Kravet, Lee Jofa, Brunschwig & Fils and Donghia furniture.
    2. Beginning May 1st, we will add a tariff surcharge of between 5 and 9 percent to our fabrics, wallcoverings, carpets, and trims depending upon the tariff imposed on us for each country of origin. We structure it this way first, to be most transparent. Second, it allows us the flexibility to adjust the surcharges when and if the tariff percentages change. The current surcharges will be:
      • 5% - United Kingdom, Turkey & Nepal
      • 7% - European Union (including Italy, France, Belgium, etc.) & India
      • 9% - All others (which account for less than 5% of our product)
    3. All existing in-house orders will not have an added surcharge.
    4. Existing quotes will be honored without tariffs through April 30th
    5. We do not expect the tariffs, in any way, to affect our efficient supply chain.

We understand this is a time of volatility and uncertainty. We are doing our best to help alleviate some of this through transparency and the clear plan detailed above. Our sincere hope is that this will provide you with the confidence you deserve to meet the needs of your clients and their projects.

As always, we are here to support you and our beloved industry and are always available for your questions. Please count on us and our entire team.

    Sincerely,

    Cary Kravet
on behalf of the Kravet family and our entire team

Please be sure that all orders have your name/business name as the sidemark or PO. This assists us in identifying the order should a problem arise.

Please also be sure to take a look at the vendor list before you login to a brand account. For security reasons we will be changing all passwords on a regular basis.

Please refer to the vendor list on the FAQ page for all changes. When a vendor is added or deleted you will see it here first. We do our best to stay on top of all vendor changes. But our communication to you is only as good as their communication with us. Thank you for your understanding.
